Joe Costello: To give an answer like that is contrary to Standing Orders and contradicts the Constitution on ministerial responsibility. It is wrong. It is not the responsibility of a quango to deal with legislative matters. It is just not good enough that Members on this side of the House get these types of reply.

Will the Ceann Comhairle agree that it be put on the agenda for the next meeting of the Committee on Procedure and Privileges?
