A very serious case was highlighted locally on LMFM radio and people were shocked to hear it. A young person who had been in the system for a few years had still not received a diagnosis. Does that not indicate a system that is in utter chaos?...

Imelda Munster: The waiting lists across the State are shocking. What is the standard in terms of best international practice for access to treatment? Does Ms O'Connor know, offhand, what that would be?

Imelda Munster: I just wanted to come back to the crisis in public dental services across the State. I have raised this with Mr. Reid previously. We are now at a crisis point. I will give my home town as an example. There is not one dentist in Drogheda, which is the largest town in Ireland, available to take medical card patients. This is happening right across the State. Imelda Munster: The Taoiseach has mentioned the €10 million several times. I do not know what I will do if I hear talk about it again. I am talking about the reality for medical card patients and about preventative care for more than 100,000 children in primary school. That is the issue which needs to be resolved. I do not get any sense of urgency whatsoever about it.

Where is the sense of urgency?

There is reference to €8.3 million in the Estimates and a portion of the €81.8 million in the tourism marketing fund. How is the fund distributed? It is a...
