Ulick Burke: I seek the Chair's protection. I was astounded to get a letter on 30 March 2004 asking me to act in an improper manner. For the record, a Chathaoirligh, I ask you to adjudicate on whether the obvious representations that I made in that letter to the Minister, Deputy Ó Cuív, and the other to the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform, Deputy McDowell, were in any way improper.
