Eamon Ryan: Broadband service providers operate in a fully liberalised market, regulated, where appropriate, by the independent Commission for Communications Regulation, ComReg. Although I have no role in enabling exchanges owned by private companies, I expect that the increasing competition in the broadband sector will encourage the more rapid enabling of all exchanges for broadband.
