Geraldine Feeney: Briefly, I agree with Senator Mary White's request to examine the case of a small group of sufferers who were the thalidomide babies and who now are in their late 40s or early 50s. The issue of symphysiotomy also pertains to a small group of women who have been badly affected by medical malpractice.
