Éamon Ó Cuív: Increases in the rural social scheme payment rates in 2005 will be in line with the increases in social welfare payments announced in budget 2005 and will be effective from the same dates as the social welfare increases. The increases are currently being calculated and will be paid shortly, backdated to the applicable effective date.
