Steven Matthews: I refer to people who choose to apply for serviced permits. Will they have access to all of these services before they have to pay the increased fee? One of the concerns that has been expressed to me is that people will have to fork out this money but nothing will change. How is it proposed that this change will happen?

Steven Matthews: The number would increase from 40 to 200 serviced sites. That is the updated number.

Steven Matthews: Somebody who is living in an unserviced berth obviously has to avail of services such as water and sewerage discharges at some point. Is there a proposal to improve those services? One of the issues that has been raised with me is that at one point extensive wastewater discharge services were not available and required a lot of travel.

Steven Matthews: No, but people will have to go to places to get their water or do pump-outs. Will more of those water or pump-out services be made available along the network as part of this change?

Steven Matthews: There is not necessarily a direct connection between the provision of services along the network for people who live on unserviced sites and the introduction of these by-laws? There is not an exchange.
