- Select Committee on Housing, Planning and Local Government: Residential Tenancies (Amendment) (No. 2) Bill 2018: Committee Stage (11 Apr 2019)
Eoghan Murphy: The amendment being ruled out of order has nothing to do with me or the Department. It is not true to say that landlords are free to set the rent at any level they like. They have to set them at market rates and have to be able to provide evidence of that. We can perhaps come back to this on Report Stage.

- Building the Housing of the Future: Motion [Private Members] (10 Apr 2019)
Eoghan Murphy: How long would it take to build it, if we are being honest with ourselves and recognise the bureaucracy about which Deputy Penrose spoke? How long would it take to build the new agency? Would it take a year? The motion also says that it is the duty of Government and the State to have that right fulfilled through the provision of quality and...
- Building the Housing of the Future: Motion [Private Members] (10 Apr 2019)
Eoghan Murphy: A Fine Gael led Government in a minority brought forward Rebuilding Ireland and this year will spend €2.4 billion on housing, more than any previous Government has spent.
