He told us earlier today, before Ms Barry attended the committee, of when he was made aware of wrongdoing in the running of the Garda College. Bobby Aylward: That being the case, was it the Commissioner's duty to notify the Comptroller and Auditor General if there was something amiss? She can be asked that question when she appears before the committee. Does the witness know if it is the responsibility of the Garda Commissioner to notify the Comptroller and Auditor General in the case that something is amiss or they feel something is not right?
