Eamon Ryan: The crucial development concerns the stimulus in the economy. I have real confidence in our ability. We will stimulate the economy when we have laid the foundations with a solid banking system, which is an essential prerequisite, and a clear budget position.

Eamon Ryan: It is crucial that this is what we focus on and the Government has the ability to do that. The Government has the people who can deliver that. I have known Deputy Ciarán Cuffe, I hate to say, for about 35 years. Regardless of the task he is given, he will stand up to the challenge.
