Simon Coveney: Statistics in relation to dog fighting are not compiled centrally in my Department. There have been two incidents of alleged illegal dog fighting reported to my Department’s animal welfare helpline. While investigations did not uncover any evidence to support either allegation, I am thankful to the concerned members of the public for reporting such incidents.
