Róisín Shortall: Fine. Why is this condition is so misunderstood? Why does it get so little attention? The witnesses are saying one in ten women suffers from it, which is about 5% of the population overall. It is incredible to think we are such an early stage in treatment services and awareness generally. Why is that?
