Éamon Ó Cuív: I can confirm that my Department has not applied for EU funding for the progression of works on the Ulster Canal. The restoration of the south west stretch of the Ulster Canal, from Upper Lough Erne to Clones, is being funded from within Waterways Ireland own resources.
