John McGuinness: UK banks may not be in the EU but facts are facts and they can charge significant amounts for handling the account of a politically exposed person because of the extra scrutiny and regard they have to give to the circumstances around it.

Colleagues in the UK told me about this and I asked them to come back to me with further information on it. If it starts happening there, it could very well begin to happen here and we have no control over these things.
