Eamon Ryan: We asked the Government last week for a debate on the PESCO proposals. As I understand it, the Government intends to sign up to the agreement at the European Council meeting on 11 December. This issue is of huge significance to our country and, as such, we should be given more time to debate it. Perhaps the Business Committee might meet later today to discuss how that can be facilitated.
