Michael Healy-Rae: I will go into only a little detail. People with a second property who have paid the €200 registration charge for second homes were informed the charge would be allocated to local authorities to provide essential services. They are now being told the €100 household charge is for the provision of the same services.

In recent days, the roof was stolen from the bandstand in the Botanic Gardens and a break-in occurred at a Minister's house.
