Mark Daly: I thank the Senator for remembering former Senator Jackman. We will have expressions of sympathy tomorrow for her. We think of her family at this difficult time and her extraordinary commitment to public service, which should and will be acknowledged by this House. He outlined the service and sacrifice made by Private Kedian who died on 31 May 1999 at his post in southern Lebanon when that post came under artillery and mortar attack. Mark Daly: I thank the Minister for bringing that to the attention of the House. It is a matter that will be discussed at a meeting of the Committee on Procedure and Privileges of Seanad Éireann, as the items are not related to the Bill itself and the main purpose of the Bill.
