Paschal Donohoe: I do not believe the take-up of electric vehicles on their own is the answer in the entirety to the emissions coming out of the transport sector. However, I do believe it is more of a part of it than Deputy Paul Murphy suggests. It needs to be accompanied by further improvements in public transport.
