Eoghan Kenny: There is difficulty in relation to the maintaining and replacing of the equipment. Is all of the broadcasting equipment owned by the Oireachtas?

Eoghan Kenny: If I am correct, the Houses of the Oireachtas spent €427,000 in 2024, along with €1.78 million. I think they were the figures that were given in regard to the equipment. That is a cost to the Exchequer.

Eoghan Kenny: What I find extremely difficult is that there is the cost to the Exchequer of the broadcasting equipment but we have a private company here and there is no cost to it at all. The only cost to the private company is the payment of wages.
