Marc MacSharry: No, I am not asking about the letter of intent either. You know these Acts back to front. What section of what Act endows plenipotentiary authority on you to invoke taxpayers’ money to the tune of €20 million over ten years?

Marc MacSharry: What section of the Act, please? It was €2 million per annum, I understood. Let us not get into pedantics. What section of the Act is it? We are dancing around protocols, one's understanding of the Act and all of that. I have heard it for hours. You once told me at the Committee of Public Accounts that we do not have a gotcha culture in the Civil Service.
