Cormac Devlin: It is to be hoped that we will see an increase in that funding in the Department into the future because it is something that is really needed. The pandemic just exposed it. It does not mean it is going to go away, as Ms McPhillips knows. It exacerbated the problem.

Cormac Devlin: Ultimately, there is this clear sign that victims need these services. They availed of the services due to probably extreme duress and stress, but we certainly need to look at that. I will leave that in Ms McPhillips's capable hands.
