- Seanad: Order of Business (2 Apr 2015)
Terry Leyden: I agree with Senator Denis Landy in respect of the one-day strike at the 109 Dunnes Stores outlets throughout the Republic. The Minister should intervene in this regard through the Labour Court or whatever other methods he uses.

- Seanad: Order of Business (2 Apr 2015)
Terry Leyden: Today is one of the major shopping days in the year. In Roscommon town there is a Londis store, SuperValu, Aldi, Lidl, Tesco and Dunes Stores. Dunnes Stores will be closed. Like the majority of people, I will not pass the picket at any store. However, the one-day strike will put jobs in jeopardy at Dunnes Stores which employs about 10,000 people throughout the State. There should be...

Terry Leyden: I warmly welcome the Minister to the House and thank him for coming in. He has a very busy schedule and he did not receive much notice about this matter. Terry Leyden: I ask the Leader to invite the Minister for Justice and Equality, Deputy Frances Fitzgerald, to attend this House to discuss the report by Mr. Dominic McGinn SC into the tragic death of Fr. Niall Molloy 30 years ago, on 8 July 1985. He was our local curate in the Castlecoote Fuerty parish, so I knew him well personally. It is a shame and a scandal that nobody has been found guilty of the...

- Seanad: Order of Business (1 Apr 2015)
Terry Leyden: I think the Minister should come into the House. It should also be borne in mind that Fianna Fáil was not in government at that particular time - it was a coalition Government. There is an implication that a senior member of Fianna Fáil was at the wedding. He was with his wife but they left on 7 July. They were not there on the day that Fr. Molloy was murdered or died tragically.

Terry Leyden: Fr. Molloy was chaplain to the Irish Defence Forces at Custume Barracks, Athlone. He was a popular member there. He told me himself that he was disappointed when the bishop of the day, Bishop Dominic Conway, moved him to our parish of Fuerty at that time.
