According to the National Cancer Registry, there are approximately 22,000 new cancer cases reported each year, with over 7,000 people dying from this life-threatening disease. The incidence of cancer is likely to double to 44,000 cases by 2020. One in three Irish people will develop invasive cancer and one in four will die from the disease....
