Catherine Murphy: Can we ensure this is dealt with at an early stage? You are right, Chairman. We have all been contacted by people. Some people are tired and have been campaigning for a long time. If we could timetable this as one of the earlier parts of the programme, it would be beneficial.

It goes to the core of many of the assets transferred from Bank of Ireland to NAMA and whether it has the legal standing to dispose of them. It is also at the heart of Project Eagle-----

It would be useful for us to have a full understanding of what is at the heart of the matter. I have tried to get my head around a lot of the documentation that was sent to us but the point being made is substantial in nature. It is not just about oversight, it revolves around the legal standing...
