Joan Burton: The Department has yet to receive a rent supplement application from the person concerned. An entitlement cannot be decided until an application has been provided to the Kildare Rents Unit. If the person concerned wishes to apply for rent supplement he should complete an application form and return it to the Kildare Rents Unit, PO Box 11758, Dublin 24.

Joan Burton: The entitlement to child benefit of the daughter of the person concerned (the children’s mother) is currently under review, as advised in my reply to PQ Ref. No. 5030-13. While the children reside with their mother, it is not possible under Social Welfare legislation to award child benefit to any other person.
