Given that Ms Deane was previously the chief executive officer of the VEC in Carlow I presume she would have an understanding of how the numbers have increased in recent years. Currently, there are only approximately 247 students enrolled in the old Carlow vocational school, if I can call it that. It will require a massive jump to go from 247 to 1,000. What plans are in place to do that in the short term?
