The difficulty that has arisen is that the traffic is diverted and being forced off the main thorough way on to the adjoining roads and villages with disastrous consequences as we have seen from recent accidents. We need to provide improved health and safety facilities on the minor roads and accelerate the work rate on the existing motorway construction.
