Catherine Connolly: It is key that Professor Donnelly had many roles. That is the whole point. We need proper governance of conflicts of interest. We are on public grounds using public funding and there is public research which led to the development of a private company. Is that correct?

Catherine Connolly: It may well be standard practice, but what I see is that there are no standard governance arrangements or if there are in theory, they are not implemented. That is what I have seen in lots of institutions.
