Kevin Humphreys: I intend to bring forward amendments to the Passports Act 2008 on Report Stage. It is just to acknowledge that applications for gender recognition certificates for persons aged 18 years or older do not have to be accompanied by a medical supporting statement.

Kevin Humphreys: The effect of gender recognition is established in section 18 of the Bill, which sets out in detail the effects of the granting of a gender recognition certificate, so I do not see the need for the amendment and I do not accept it.
