Tony McLoughlin: The Minister and his officials are welcome. The Minister mentioned that the figures have increased from 42,500 in 2014 to 49,000 at present. Does he have projected figures for the coming years? He has said that it is difficult to predict with absolute certainty the number of teachers retiring in any particular year but perhaps he could give us some indication.
