Does retaining specialists in this field continue to be a problem? If, for all sorts of reasons, it is not possible to retain staff, we will always be chasing our tails in this field. It has manifested into a major increase in the number of young people presenting with an eating disorder. That has been compounded by the events of the last few months. In that regard, what has the HSE done to provide specialists in the field of eating disorders?

As the Minister of State, Deputy Butler, said, 487 young people presented or were getting treatment for eating disorders. How does this compare to two years ago? What kind of numbers presented then with this condition? It seems to have been, and probably still is being, compounded by the pandemic.
