Seán Kenny: I join other members in supporting the nomination of Ms Justice Mary Ellen Ring to the position of chairperson of the Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission. I wish the judge every success in her new role, which has been a controversial position in the past. Ms Justice Ring is well suited to perform the task of chairperson.
