Emer Higgins: Unlike Cork, unfortunately, it is not a target as a minimum. The officials spoke about limited vacant homes in the city. GeoDirectory, probably combining Galway City Council and Galway County Council figures, found that Galway was quite well above the average when it came to vacancies and the vacancy rate.
