Gerry Horkan: I am sure the Senator did not mean anything untoward by what she said. Private Members' time was scheduled to last two hours and as soon as it was finished we were to revert back to the Private Members' Bill.

Gerry Horkan: Perhaps the Senator should reflect on her use of the phrase "jiggery-pokery". The schedule was published, and it was what it was. The debate on the Private Members' Bill only took an hour rather than two hours. I do not think that she would want it on the record of the House a suggestion that something untoward was done. I am sure she has not made such a suggestion.
