Niamh Smyth: The figures indicate that €600,000 was spent on RTÉ and €900,000 spent on media, specifically on Cruinniú na Cásca and the Department's citizen's engagement, amounting to an overall spend of €1.5 million. What measurement, tools or monitoring does the Department have in place to monitor the benefit of this to the artists involved?

Niamh Smyth: Are there any tools in place to measure the effectiveness of the money being spent by the Department on media, between RTÉ and print, as opposed to giving that money directly to the artists? That is what I am asking about. A total of €1.5 million has been spent on the media to promote Creative Ireland. How effective has that been? What tools are being used to measure that?
