Heather Humphreys: The Department of Social Protection does not break down the budget allocation of the Supplementary Welfare Allowance (SWA) by city, county or region.  The scheme, which is demand-led, is operated on a national level by my Department. The 2022 budget allocation for SWA is €123.7m. Expenditure up to the end of March 2022 is estimated to be €27.3m.
