Noel Rock: I have a few final questions now that I finally have got the witnesses all to myself. I am fond of the 40E bus service which brings people from Finglas to the Luas. Under a freedom of information request, I got the details that in and around 5,000 passengers use it every week. There has been a little bit of chatter locally about it being discontinued and I wanted to put an end to it here....

Noel Rock: Brilliant. This is not a criticism of the NTA at all. It is more about how cycling can sometimes inadvertently end up not being on the agenda. Other issues often end up dominating meetings. I would love to meet the cycling design team. I would really appreciate the opportunity to do so in the weeks and months ahead if that is at all possible.
