Joint Oireachtas Committee on Transport, Tourism and Sport: Road Safety Strategy: Discussion (Resumed) (22 Mar 2017)

I understand all the different sides of the argument but I believe it is possible for a person to complete an intensive course in a year.

Joint Oireachtas Committee on Transport, Tourism and Sport: Road Safety Strategy: Discussion (Resumed) (22 Mar 2017)

Michael Fitzmaurice: An intensive year long course is preferable. Young people will not be attracted to a three-year course and more foreign people will be sought for this work.

Am I correct? I understand that such cases require an NCT and that one cannot register an English vehicle and drive it here if the vehicle does not have a NCT certificate. I also understand that one can draw insurance on...
