Dermot Ahern: The budget outturn for the Reception and Integration Agency (RIA) of my Department was €86.51 million in 2009. At the end of 2009, there were 6,494 people availing of direct provision accommodation. The 2010 budget for RIA is €77.5 million. At the end of May 2010, RIA has spent €32.225 million and the number of people availing of direct provision accommodation at the end of May was 6,337.
