Tom Parlon: An independent architectural report, having regard to the submissions received in respect of planning consultation under part 9, is under consideration by the Commissioners of Public Works. It is expected that a decision will be made shortly. The site on which it is proposed to build the new Garda station is in full State ownership. No other sites are currently being considered.

The Office of Public Works has no plans at present to allow bus traffic through the Phoenix Park to facilitate commuters.
