Andrew Doyle: The next amendment is amendment No. 47. The amendment would involve a potential charge on the Exchequer as the financial burden resulting from taking steps to remedy breaches of the legislation on animal health and welfare would be borne by the State. A note was sent to the Deputy to that effect.
