Shane Ross: My Department did not maintain a stand at the Ploughing Championships. However, the Coast Guard, a division of my Department, did have a stand as part of its Safety on the Water campaign. The cost of the stand was €4,829.60. The staffing costs consisted of out of pocket expenses for one permanent member of staff and for a small number of Coast Guard volunteers.
