Kathleen Lynch: I am loth to cut Deputy Sheehan off as the Boundary Commission has decided 50% of the Cork North-Central constituency will be rural. I support Deputy Sheehan on his point. Last year I raised an issue on a report from the Pensions Board. If a spouse dies and the remaining spouse remarries, be they male or female, they lose the deceased spouse's pension.
