Fergus O'Dowd: Of course, but the Deputy would have to give them due notice of such a list. That is what I would like to see. The point they have made is that cycling and walking are joined up in the space they occupy. It is hard to be specific unless the route is only a path on which nobody could cycle such as a narrow path near a cliff surface or somewhere like that. Cycling and walking go together....

Between 2014 and 2018 the figure was 11 per year, so the trend for cyclist deaths is up while it is significantly down for road users as a whole.
