Catherine Murphy: At the end of 2018 eight sets of financial statements relating to 2017 or earlier had not been certified. Ms Drinan has made it clear that the cost of the audit is not on the entity that has been audited. Yet, it is clear that there are problems in those particular ones. Does extra expertise have to be brought in where there is difficulty in finalising an audit? Does that ever occur?
