Brian Cowen: The Government has to pursue the enactment of this legislation. There was a long debate on Second Stage. It is quite a focused Bill. It is not of the size or magnitude of a normal Finance Bill, as debated at the beginning of a financial year. We have to pursue this legislation today in the manner I have proposed, unfortunately.

Brian Cowen: It is intended that the Dáil will sit during July. The date of rising is not yet fixed and is a matter for further discussion with the Whips. I would expect it to be after the first week in July.
