Mary Coughlan: We will get a copy of the letter from the Minister of State, Deputy Mansergh, for Deputy Burke. Arising from SI No. 122 of 2010, the commissioners of the Office of Public Works are appointed as the competent authority under the EU floods directive and, on that basis, responsibility within the State is a matter for the OPW.
