On the second question on the referendum, the Government has always stated that it will await the outcome of the deliberations of the committee before coming to any decision. Those deliberations are expected from the committee on 16 October, at which stage the Government will take the report and make its decision.

Mary Coughlan: The Social Welfare Bill will be taken in this session. The Bill dealing with the election of a Dublin mayor will be taken next year and it is the Government's intention to proceed with the election in 2010. There are no proposals for an amendment to industrial relations legislation.
