- Public Accounts Committee: Oversight of Irish Water: Discussion (15 Jan 2014)
Paul Connaughton: I am going back on the basis of the set-up and what will be passed on to the consumer. The point I am getting at is that if the regulator sees a certain element of this that perhaps was not good value or should not have been included, it will not pass it on. It goes back to Irish Water, which is going to pass it on to the taxpayer.

Paul Connaughton: I thank the Leas-Cheann Comhairle for giving me the opportunity to speak on this issue, even for a short time.
