- Companies (Statutory Audits) Bill 2017: Second Stage (Resumed) (24 Jan 2018)
Mattie McGrath: He supplied that many, but had no help from the previous Government, of which Deputy Humphreys was a member from 2011 to 2016. Thankfully, there are 700 jobs left. - Joint Oireachtas Committee on European Union Affairs: European Court of Auditors Annual Report 2016: Discussion (24 Jan 2018)
Mattie McGrath: I feel it incumbent upon me as a rural Teachta Dála to support the Chair on that issue. - Joint Oireachtas Committee on European Union Affairs: European Court of Auditors Annual Report 2016: Discussion (24 Jan 2018)
Mattie McGrath: Our guest mentioned that he was disappointed with the uptake of young farmers vis-à-visthe EU funding, so it is very relevant. Unless we want the barren wasteland Senator Richmond wants outside the Pale.

Mattie McGrath: It is, but on the last point-----
- Questions on Promised Legislation (25 Jan 2018)
Mattie McGrath: -----I remind the Tánaiste that there was a minority report too, and one of his own members formulated that report. During the talks on the programme for Government, the rural Independents advocated for funding for rural roads. The rural roads are decaying by the day and we are inundated with complaints. Any TD from rural Ireland will know that. When will we see some forward...
- Questions on Promised Legislation (25 Jan 2018)
Mattie McGrath: Excuse me. I thought Deputy Murphy was a rural TD as well. I am surprised he is objecting to this question.
